I’ve recently created a project that visualizes wikipedia articles editors gender. There’s a huge bias and I know this is something that WikiMedia wants to balance, and I thought that if it was possible to identify which articles or lists of articles had a best or worst male/female ratio, it could help designing some tactics. http://moebio.com/research/wikipediagender I hope this is useful!
You gave an interview in which you bemoaned the lack of new editors. Well… I tried ot edit a shambles of an article, and found it was controlled by a fixed agenda.
The repercussions of the article made this disgusting. I have never looked at Wikipedia in the same way at all, and indeed, I explain to all that it can be used to manipulate.
Shortly after my experience, I found a paper written on the same article! The article is still as corrupt today as it was back then.
