First, let me congratulate you and Wikipedia for making your fundraising goal. Secondly, let me thank you or whoever, for providing this wonderful reference source. I am an old coot. I never had encyclopedias’, computers, or even calculators even through college. These things weren’t available to me until I began work on my second master’s degree. I can’t fathom how I made it through all of those educational endeavors without the tools we have today.
I have been reading your blog about the gender gap. It never dawned on me that there could be bias and prejudice in an encyclopedia, but after thinking about it, I can see the many ramifications of such thoughts. I encourage you to not only root those out, but to note them as well. That is part of our history and heritage as well.
